Malaysia's transport minister has offered to resign from his post in Cabinet. It is in protest of a conditional royal pardon granted to jailed former prime minister Najib Razak, allowing him to serve the rest of his sentence under house arrest, if he meets certain conditions. Anthony Loke - who is the leader of the Democratic Action Party - however, emphasised that the party's other ministers will remain in Cabinet for political stability.
