Singapore has sufficient energy supplies to meet demand, despite Indonesia cutting natural gas exports to the country. The Energy Market Authority (EMA) says that the reduction will last 18 days and accounts for less than two per cent of Singapore's daily gas demand. This comes after Indonesia said it has begun reducing natural gas exports to Singapore to meet its own electricity needs. EMA adds that contingency plans are in place and previous supply reductions of a larger scale were managed without incident.
