The search continues for more than a thousand people still unaccounted for, after deadly landslides and flooding along the border between Nepal and Tibet. Efforts are hindered by damage to infrastructure and the risk from a dammed lake near the mudslide zone. For survivors and families of those missing, uncertainty about their future lingers in the aftermath of the disaster. We also spoke with Shrinkhala Thapa - programme and operations coordinator of IFRC – that’s the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, who joined us from Kathmandu.
