Indonesia protests: Thousands marched on parliament, demanding tougher corruption penalties

Thousands of Indonesians have marched on parliament, demanding tougher penalties for corrupt officials. Riot police kept the protesters outside the legislature’s closed gates. Demonstrators are calling on parliament to pass a bill - stalled since 2008, that will allow authorities to seize the assets of corrupt officials. Some of the demonstrators are also demanding the death penalty for those convicted of corruption. Chandni Vatvani reports.
