Gan Ching Hwee wins third Asian Games medal with 800m freestyle silver

Singapore swimmer Gan Ching Hwee won silver in the women’s 800m freestyle at the Asian Games on Friday (Sep 25), securing her third medal of the Games for Singapore. The 23-year-old clocked 8:26.25, breaking her own national record by more than three seconds. China's Li Bingjie won gold in 8min 24.02sec, while Japan's Ichika Kajimoto took bronze in 8min 27.37sec.
