France’s heatwave death toll mounts as extreme weather grips Europe

CNA1 hour ago2:05

Rain and cooler temperatures have brought some relief to Paris after weeks of punishing heat, but new figures reveal the deadly toll of France’s extreme summer. The figures come as extreme weather continues to hammer parts of Europe, with wildfires burning from Belgium to the Mediterranean and forcing more evacuations. Ross Cullen reports from Paris.
