Flexible work is more than working from home: Indranee Rajah

Flexible work arrangements are “much broader” than working from home and can include options such as flexi-time, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office Indranee Rajah in parliament on Thursday (Sep 10). Employers need to discuss suitable arrangements with their employees as the needs of sectors such as retail, hospitality, professional services and manufacturing can differ, she said, adding that the government intends to work sector by sector, involving trade associations and chambers through the tripartite model.
