Customer brings child to meet viral Roxy Square wonton noodle stall owner, asks him to pat her head

“I’m thankful he’s not traumatised,” said 40-year-old sleep technologist Jo Ng who brought his 16-month-old daughter to visit the owner of Bei-Ing Wanton Noodle at Roxy Square on Friday (August 21), and even invited the owner, Yeo Song Khoon, to pat the child's head. Mr Ng said Mr Yeo is a “folk legend” in Katong and wanted to see how he was doing, following a recent incident where Mr Yeo was pushed to the ground by a 40-year-old man, after he patted the man’s daughter on her head. Mr Ng said he offered free physiotherapy sessions for Mr Yeo, which the latter declined.
