Companies should not use AI as an excuse to cut costs: Tan Kiat How

Companies that adopt artificial intelligence as a way to reduce manpower are actually "hobbling" their future growth, Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information Tan Kiat How said on Monday (Sep 28). He added that, as AI becomes more accessible and pervasive, experienced staff become more valuable as they possess a greater understanding of customers' or industry pain points.
