Singapore is giving its bioeconomy sector a S$118 million boost. That is, using living organisms to produce things - from chemicals and materials, to ingredients in everyday products. A S$50 million National Centre for Engineering Biology at NUS has also been officially launched. Beatrice Yap reports.
