The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games came to a close with a 90-minute ceremony at Paloma Mizuho Stadium on Sunday (Oct 4), celebrating an event marked by over 50 world records. Sunday's ceremony paid tribute to the achievements of athletes who competed at the Games, including a segment with parkour performers in cherry blossom-inspired costumes. There was also a short video montage spotlighting various standout moments, including Shanti Pereira's victory in the women's 200m. Team Singapore athletes joined in the celebrations after ending the Games by winning two gold, nine silver and seven bronze medals.
