Two powerful earthquakes, measuring magnitudes 7.6 and 6.6, struck Panama on Friday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center. Multiple aftershocks were also recorded, damaging buildings and prompting evacuations. The country's largest international airport was temporarily closed before gradually resuming operations, and subway services were also affected.
