As the new semester begins, some children in southwest China are taking a school bus ride unlike any other – one that climbs sheer cliffs and crosses a canyon. In Nizhuhe, Yunnan Province, cliffside elevators and a cable car have shortened the journey to school from more than three hours to about 30 minutes.
