Robots to compete in tug-of-war at Beijing's World Humanoid Games #CoolChina

Robot tug-of-war will make its debut at the upcoming second World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing, adding a new test of motion control, force sensing, coordination and decision-making. The competition will be held in a two-on-two format on a 1.2-meter-wide, 12-meter-long track, with two-minute matches disqualifying robots whose non-foot body parts touch the ground or step out of bounds.
