Rescue race after mudslide buries village in China's Jiangxi #worldnow

One person is dead and 11 are missing after a mudslide hit a village in Ji'an City, east China's Jiangxi Province, at around 4 a.m. on Saturday, local authorities said. The disaster was triggered by days of torrential rain brought by Typhoon Saudel, according to Suichuan County's flood control headquarters. Three people have been pulled from the debris – two are stable, while one has been confirmed dead. Search and rescue operations are still racing against time.
