Americans are taking "Becoming Chinese" to the next level! From drinking hot water and wearing slippers, to quoting lines from Chinese movies and singing along to Chinese songs, the trend is getting more creative by the day. Behind it is a growing curiosity about Chinese culture. According to Google Trends, over the past year, US-based searches related to China have shown rising interest in Chinese-language content and Chinese dramas. For the three Americans featured in this video, it started in different ways: watching "House of Flying Daggers" on repeat, being moved by the Chinese documentary "Hidden Letters," or discovering a love for Chinese music through Jackie Chan movies and artists like Jay Chou, Jason Zhang, and JJ Lin.
