China's railway network is expected to handle 24.15 million passenger trips on Wednesday, the final day of the week-long National Day holiday. As return travel peaks, China Railway will add 2,449 trains to meet demand. Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai railway groups will add services, with the Yangtze River Delta alone expecting 4.15 million trips, up 17.7% year on year.
