SCO summit: China, Russia and Iran call for greater multilateral cooperation

25th anniversary at a summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, with calls for greater multilateral cooperation and a multipolar world order. Chinese President Xi Jinping and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian spoke against unilateralism and military blocs, while Russian President Vladimir Putin highlighted growing trade among SCO members. Putin said trade between member states has risen above $400 billion, with national currencies playing a growing role in transactions. The summit concluded with the SCO chairmanship passing to Pakistan, which is set to host the next meeting in Islamabad.
