The Saudi-led coalition says it has destroyed a ballistic missile launch platform in Yemen that was used in an attack on Riyadh, as fighting between internationally recognised Yemeni government forces and the Houthis escalates. The coalition says the platform was destroyed in Sanaa while preparations were under way for another attack against Saudi Arabia. The development follows Houthi missile attacks on Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which Saudi authorities say killed three people and injured 36 others. Two residents from Morocco and Algeria were killed and 28 people injured at Abha, while a Sudanese resident was killed and eight others injured at King Khalid. The attacks came as Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces continue their push to retake territory from the Houthis along the Red Sea coast and around the strategic Bab al-Mandab Strait.
