Kushner meets Netanyahu as Israel rejects US-backed Gaza peace plan

Jared Kushner has met Israeli leaders in Jerusalem after Israel rejected a US-backed peace plan for Gaza, insisting troops will only withdraw once Hamas fully disarms. Israel and the Gaza Board of Peace agreed to create working groups on disarmament and on sanitation and clean water. A Board of Peace official says all Hamas weapons and tunnels must be dismantled, with surrendered arms handed to a Palestinian technocratic government under US oversight.
