Israeli forces have raided Palestinian non-governmental organisations in central Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank, injuring at least three Palestinians, including a 14-year-old who was shot. Soldiers fired live ammunition, tear gas and stun grenades, and entered the courtyard of the Palestine Medical Complex, the largest hospital in the occupied West Bank. The raids targeted two Palestinian organisations, including Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, with Israeli forces confiscating equipment and furniture and assaulting journalists covering the operation. Addameer, which documented abuses against Palestinian prisoners and provided legal assistance, was forced to close after Israel designated it and five other Palestinian NGOs as terrorist organisations in 2021. The UN and EU have said there is no evidence to support Israel's allegations against the groups. Witnesses described the raids as an attempt to intimidate Palestinians, while the military operation disrupted daily life in the city, which serves as the Palestinian Authority's administrative centre.
