However, the deployment faces significant challenges related to infrastructure readiness. Shielded Labs, through its Executive Director Jason McGee, has indicated that ecosystem participants such as exchanges, mining pools, and wallet providers are struggling to prepare for the transition to the new Z3 software stack, which includes the Zebra full node, Zaino indexing service, and Zallet wallet. Some of these components are still under development, leaving limited time for migration and testing before the targeted late July completion.
Zcash co-founder Zooko Wilcox emphasized efforts to support enterprise users in their transition to Ironwood.
