Settlers opened fire on Palestinians near Al-Mughayyir village in the West Bank on Friday after residents attempted to prevent settlers from targeting a farm, according to Wafa. Marzouq Abu Naim, deputy head of the Al-Mughayyir village council, stated that Israeli forces subsequently intervened, firing tear gas at the Palestinians while protecting the settlers. No injuries were reported in this incident.
In a separate event, two Palestinians from Al-Mughayyir were injured after being attacked by settlers on the Al-Ma'rajat road linking Ramallah and Jericho. Muhyi al-Din Abu Naim, one of the injured, reported that he and a colleague were attacked with sticks and sharp tools by settlers while attempting to help a driver with a damaged tire. Both sustained fractures and bruises and received medical treatment.
Additionally, Israeli forces fired at a vehicle in Al-Bireh on Friday evening, causing it to overturn, Wafa reported.
