Nvidia has entered into a minority investment agreement with Cloverleaf Infrastructure, a privately held company focused on developing infrastructure for AI data center projects across the United States. The partnership aims to accelerate the buildout of essential infrastructure, including power and cooling, necessary for large-scale AI computing.
Cloverleaf, which was founded in 2024 and has already delivered multiple gigawatt-scale projects in North America, will leverage Nvidia's DSX platform. This platform will assist Cloverleaf in optimizing critical decisions regarding site selection, power availability, cooling systems, and overall computing infrastructure for its data center developments.
While the specific financial terms of the investment were not disclosed, The Wall Street Journal reported that Nvidia was expected to commit several hundred million dollars to the deal. This move comes shortly after Nvidia announced a separate $1.5 billion investment in SB Energy, a data center developer owned by SoftBank, underscoring Nvidia's strategic focus on expanding its data center capabilities to meet the growing demand for AI computing power.
