MILLION Luxury, a Miami-based real estate firm specializing in ultra-luxury properties, is betting on artificial intelligence to maintain its competitive edge against larger, consolidating brokerages. CEO and founder Andrés Muñoz believes AI can provide independent firms with the agility and expertise to excel in their chosen market segments.
Muñoz, who comes from a technology and digital marketing background, founded MILLION in 2015 with a vision to use technology to sell properties above $1 million in South Florida. He argues that while consolidation creates scale, specialization offers advantages in expertise, agility, and a clear value proposition.
The firm is integrating AI as an operating layer across its business, aiming to give its approximately 100 employees the leverage of a much larger organization. AI is being applied to marketing, CRM, lead qualification, content creation, HR, accounting, and internal workflows. The goal is to remove repetitive tasks for agents, allowing them to focus on client relationships, market analysis, and deal negotiation.
Muñoz stressed that AI is intended to amplify, not replace, the essential human elements of trust, judgment, and deep product knowledge in ultra-luxury real estate. He anticipates AI will help agents better understand fragmented data—such as leads, client conversations, pricing, and transaction history—to identify high-value opportunities and provide more personalized service.
MILLION Luxury's strategy combines deep expertise in its niche market, skilled agents, and an AI-powered operational platform. While currently focused on South Florida, Muñoz suggested the model could be replicated in other markets if successful, prioritizing specialization over broad expansion.
