South Korea and Argentina have agreed to bolster their cooperation on critical minerals, with a focus on joint ventures throughout the lithium value chain. The agreement was formalized through a memorandum of understanding signed on the sidelines of a bilateral summit between South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and his Argentine counterpart, Javier Milei, in Buenos Aires.
