Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday resulted in the death of one Palestinian and injuries to 15 others, according to medical sources cited by Wafa news agency. The attacks occurred in various locations, including a refugee camp in central Gaza where a drone strike targeted a tent sheltering displaced people, leading to one fatality and 11 casualties admitted to Al-Awda Hospital.
Additional casualties were reported from strikes in Khan Younis and Gaza City. Medical sources at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis confirmed two casualties from a drone strike on a house, while Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City received two more from a strike on a rooftop.
Further reports from IMEMC indicate that Israeli warplanes targeted civilians near Jabalia parking area, resulting in one death and injuries transferred to Al-Ahli Hospital. The same source noted that two Palestinians died from previous Israeli strikes: Khaled Mohammad Salem Jouda from an injury in northern Gaza, and Mohammad Al-Attar from wounds sustained two days prior in Gaza City. An Israeli soldier also reportedly shot and wounded a Palestinian woman near displaced families' tents in Beit Lahia.
Israeli forces also detonated residential buildings east of Gaza City and fired artillery shells toward the Al-Bureij refugee camp. The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that the number of Palestinians killed in Gaza since dawn Wednesday had risen to nine, including four in northern Gaza, one in the south, and four who died from earlier wounds.
IMEMC also reported Israeli airstrikes west of Khan Younis that killed one Palestinian and injured several others near Al-Aqsa University. These attacks are part of continued Israeli bombardment despite a ceasefire framework announced in October of last year. Since that period began, over 677 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 1,813 injured, with 756 bodies recovered. The cumulative death toll since October 7, 2023, has reached over 72,000 killed and more than 170,000 injured.
