Recent Israeli air strikes in southern Lebanon have been particularly deadly, with at least 12 people, including children and medics, killed in attacks on residential buildings and civilian vehicles. Over the past three days, Israeli actions have led to at least 27 deaths and 69 injuries in the region.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has stated that the increased hostilities are an Israeli effort to undermine a United States-brokered ceasefire framework agreement.
