Israel destroys Hezbollah tunnel, Hezbollah accuses Israel of multiple attacks

The Israeli military announced the destruction of a 200-meter Hezbollah tunnel in Majdal Zoun, southern Lebanon, a move that was communicated to the U.S. beforehand. This operation followed the death of Israeli soldier David Hazutt, 21, near Deir Siryan during an encounter with a Hezbollah operative. Earlier, the Israeli military reported engaging Hezbollah militants and striking a rocket launcher in the Nabatieh area. Lebanese media also reported Israeli airstrikes on Deir Seryan and houses in al-Khiam. The Israeli military stated its operations aim to neutralize threats to soldiers and civilians and indicated ongoing operations in southern Syria. Meanwhile, Hezbollah accused Israel of violating a ceasefire with multiple attacks across southern Lebanon on Sunday, including strikes on residential buildings in Nabatieh and Mayfadoun, and drone attacks near Far’un and Bint Jbeil.
