Iran vows to bolster defensive capabilities, warns enemies

Iran's acting Defence Minister Majid Ibn Reza has stated that the country will continue to bolster its defensive capabilities, emphasizing that national unity is a critical component of its strength. Speaking to IRIB news agency, Reza asserted that his ministry's mission is to build power for Iran, safeguard national security, and develop deterrent capabilities against any enemy miscalculation.

In comments that hinted at future developments, General Ebn al-Reza, also referred to as the caretaker defense minister, suggested that Iran's Armed Forces possess surprises for its adversaries, which will be revealed in due time. He noted that Iranian knowledge and the work within defense industries would bring these positive surprises.

Major General Amir Hatami, chief of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, further elaborated on the nation's defense strength, stating that sanctions have fostered an indigenous and indestructible defensive power rooted in domestic knowledge and capacity. He claimed that Iran's missile and air defense systems are now in a superior position compared to the period before a recent 12-day conflict, highlighting the unique experience gained from confronting hybrid warfare and identifying enemy strengths and weaknesses.
