Iran's parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has issued a stern warning, stating that if Iran is unable to sell oil, no other entity will be able to do so in the region. Ghalibaf republished a message from July 22 on X, responding to earlier assertions by US Central Command (Centcom) commander Admiral Brad Cooper, who claimed that American forces had achieved full control of the Strait of Hormuz and had halted Iran's oil exports.
Ghalibaf declared, "The equation of this war is clear: either all or none!" He further asserted, "In a region where we don’t sell oil, no one else will sell oil either." He also linked the security of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway for global oil transport, to the absence of US troops, whom he described as terrorists.
