Iran's interior ministry announced on Saturday that diplomatic efforts are underway to resolve outstanding issues and restore the "Islamabad agreement." The ministry's spokesman, Ali Zeynivand, emphasized that Tehran is insisting the other party fulfill its commitments under the deal, as reported by the semi-official Tasnim news agency.
Zeynivand further stated that the agreement had been approved by Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and ratified by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
