Yemen not Iranian bargaining chip, foreign minister says

The Houthi armed group declared a maritime embargo against Saudi Arabia on July 20, framing it as a response to the kingdom's 12-year economic blockade on Yemen. This action followed the Saudi-led coalition and the Internationally Recognized Government of Yemen's blocking of an Iranian flight carrying a Houthi delegation on July 13. Another Iranian flight was blocked on July 19, preceding the Houthi blockade announcement.
