The body of an Indian sailor, Heramb Karmarkar, who went missing after his ship, the GFS Galaxy, was attacked off the coast of Oman, has been recovered. Karmarkar, a 30-year-old marine engineer, had been missing since Sunday's attack. His body was found by the Omani coast guard approximately 60 hours after he was reported missing. The GFS Galaxy sustained fire and damage to its engine room, with the US Central Command accusing Iran of the attack. The other 23 crew members, including 10 Indian nationals, were rescued on Sunday. India has stated that attacks on commercial shipping in the region are deeply worrisome and must end.
