Hong Kong has attracted another 18 strategic enterprises, securing pledges of more than HK$10 billion (US$1.28 billion) in investment. Among the latest batch of companies are Nasdaq-listed fintech firm Solana and healthcare giant Johnson & Johnson. These enterprises will establish or expand operations in key sectors including artificial intelligence, healthtech, and advanced manufacturing. The agreements were signed on Thursday with the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES), a government unit under the Financial Secretary's Office.
