Goldman Sachs has re-established itself as the largest holder of XRP exchange-traded funds, according to its latest Q2 2026 disclosure with the U.S. SEC. The investment firm has built significant exposure across multiple XRP ETFs, with a total position of $86.50 million. These holdings include shares in Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, Grayscale, Canary, and 21Shares XRP ETFs, with increased positions in several of them.
Goldman Sachs also disclosed holdings in Armada Acquisition Corp II, a SPAC that is nearing a merger with Ripple-backed Evernorth Holdings. The re-entry into XRP ETFs by Goldman Sachs, alongside similar disclosures from other Wall Street giants like JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, and Bank of America, indicates a growing institutional interest in crypto assets, driven by trends in tokenization, treasury management, and cross-border payments.
The renewed institutional inflows have coincided with a significant price rally for XRP. Spot XRP ETFs saw net inflows of $13.24 million on Thursday, contributing to a total assets under management of $1.17 billion and cumulative inflows surpassing $1.53 billion. XRP's price has surged over 22% in the past 24 hours and 40% this week, trading at $1.38. Trading volume has also jumped by 156%, and XRP futures open interest has risen by over 17% to $3.44 billion.
