This valuation represents a significant increase from its $1.3 billion valuation just eight months ago. Goldman Sachs and Intel led the investment round, which also included DST Global and Valor Capital.
Founded in 2023 by former Snap executive Alex Mashrabov and Yerzat Dulat, Higgsfield develops AI tools for creating and editing videos. The company has garnered over 30 million users across 200 countries and reported $700 million in annualized revenue. A growing segment of its business comes from enterprise clients, with Higgsfield working with 390 Fortune 500 companies.
The fresh capital will be used for hiring, product development, and securing the substantial compute capacity required for AI video generation. Higgsfield faces competition from major players like OpenAI's Sora and Google's Veo, as well as other AI video specialists such as Runway.
