Iyer paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.84 lakh and a security deposit of Rs 74 lakh for the property. The rental escalations mean the monthly rent will rise to approximately Rs 19.79 lakh in the second year and Rs 21.18 lakh in the third year, bringing the total lease value to Rs 7.14 crore over three years.
