Explosions were heard in Kyiv overnight June 28 as Russia conducted a ballistic missile attack. Ukraine's Air Force stated that most of the launched missiles were intercepted. However, the attacks resulted in injuries to 36 people across Ukraine.
In a separate development, Russian strikes targeted Zaporizhzhia on Sunday morning, injuring at least eight individuals, including two children. Governor Ivan Fedorov reported that a 5-year-old boy sustained serious injuries. The strikes also led to damage and fires in residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia.
