Iran's health ministry announced that at least 38 people have been killed and over 400 wounded in the country since the United States resumed attacks on June 22. Among the fatalities were one child and three women, while 22 women and nine children sustained injuries.
The US military stated it conducted a new wave of strikes against Iran for the sixth consecutive night, aiming to further degrade Iranian military capabilities. These strikes targeted civilian infrastructure, including two bridges in Hormozgan province, a railway station, and an airport in the southern part of the country. Power lines in Bandar Abbas and surrounding villages were also damaged, leading authorities to advise citizens to limit air conditioning use.
In response, Iran has attacked US bases in the Gulf region. Qatar's defense ministry reported intercepting an Iranian missile attack, with one child injured by shrapnel during the interception operations. US President Donald Trump commented that America was "winning big in Iran."
Concerns persist over the conflict's impact on global energy and shipping routes, with Tehran warning that the Strait of Hormuz "will never return to what it was before the 40-day war."
