The United States has launched a sixth night of strikes targeting key infrastructure in Iran, including Iranshahr Airport in the Sistan and Baluchestan province. According to Iranian state TV, the attack wounded at least one civilian and caused damage to electrical facilities and a fuel tank, leading to a power outage.
US forces also struck two bridges in Hormozgan province, the Kahurestan Bridge and the Girveh Bridge, as well as a communications tower near Bandar Abbas. US Central Command (CENTCOM) described the operation as part of an effort to "further degrade Iranian military capabilities."
Iranian media reported explosions across southern Iran, including on Qeshm Island, in Bushehr, and Ahvaz. The IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency reported three powerful explosions near Iranshahr Airport following the strike. Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences reported one person killed and eight others wounded in Bandar Abbas. The Hormozgan Governor's Office confirmed the Kahurestan Bridge on the Bandar Abbas-Lar route was hit and stated that emergency personnel were deployed.
