Russia's Bryansk region governor reported that a Ukrainian drone strike resulted in one fatality and five injuries. The regional authorities stated that a drone struck a minibus in the village of Pogar, killing the driver.
Russia's Defence Ministry claimed its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 193 Ukrainian drones overnight across 13 Russian regions, including 34 on a flight path to Moscow. Flights were temporarily halted at two Moscow airports due to the drone threat.
In a broader exchange of overnight strikes, Ukraine reported hitting the Tatneft oil refinery TANECO and the TAIF-NK refinery in Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan, as well as the Tolyattikauchuk plant in the Samara region. Ukraine's military confirmed fires at both Tatarstan refineries.
Russia, meanwhile, attacked railway stations and electrical signaling posts in Ukraine's northern Sumy region, killing a railway worker and injuring another. Previous Russian attacks in the Sumy region also resulted in casualties.
Ukraine's Air Force stated that Russia launched 117 drones since 6 p.m. local time on June 11, with air defense units downing or neutralizing 102 of them. Separately, three people were injured in a drone attack in the southern city of Mykolaiv.
