However, the attack resulted in 10 injuries and damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure, including a fire at an industrial park and a reported blaze at an oil depot.
This latest offensive follows a pattern of reciprocal strikes, with Russia having bombarded Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities with ballistic missiles. The Institute for the Study of War noted that Russia appears to be depleting its stockpiles of ballistic missiles to increase attacks on Ukraine, as these are more effective than drones or cruise missiles. Ukraine's air force stated that its defenses intercepted or jammed most of the 94 drones and one missile Russia launched against its territory overnight.
