Ukraine's drone forces have significantly disrupted ferry traffic in the Kerch Strait, reducing its capacity by 75%, according to commander Robert "Madyar" Brovdi. The operation, named "MoLoCHKa," which translates to "Moscow will fall because of Crimea," has been ongoing since July 6 and targets Russia's shadow fleet and logistical supply routes.
Brovdi stated that three of the four ferries previously operating between Port Kavkaz and occupied Crimea—Eisk, Maria, and SKS One—have been destroyed or damaged beyond repair. The remaining ferries, Lavrentiy and Panagia, are now being towed as barges, severely limiting their transport capabilities. Before the operation, these four ferries could handle 180 to 250 transport units daily, with approximately 80% supporting the Russian military.
