Israel carried out several airstrikes on southern Lebanon on Friday that killed at least 10 people, while the militant Hezbollah group said it fired rockets and drones at northern Israel where two soldiers were wounded. Israel’s military and Hezbollah continued their attacks despite a ceasefire in place since April 17. On Tuesday, Lebanon's health ministry reported that an Israeli drone strike in the city of Nabatieh wounded two civilians. The ministry added that a second strike targeted a rescue team from the Al-Risala Association, damaging an ambulance that was transporting a wounded person. Israeli aircraft dropped explosives over Ali Al-Taher in Nabatieh, while artillery shelled nearby areas. Israeli troops also entered Zawtar Al-Gharbiyah with armored vehicles and a bulldozer, erecting a new earthen barrier. An Israeli drone conducted two strikes on Mayfadoun, and artillery hit a house in Mais Al-Jabal. The Lebanese Army stated that three soldiers sustained injuries, including one with moderate injuries, while dismantling unexploded ordnance in Nabatieh district. Earlier, an airstrike on Habboush killed six people, including a woman and a child, and wounded eight. Four other people were killed in strikes on three other southern villages. Paramedics recovered the bodies of five people, including a man and his three sons, from under rubble in Kfar Rumman, a day after they were killed in an airstrike.
