Russian drone strike kills 1, injures 7 at Rozetka warehouse in Kyiv Oblast

A Russian drone strike on August 1 hit a warehouse belonging to Ukrainian online retailer Rozetka in Kyiv Oblast, resulting in one fatality and seven injuries. The warehouse, located in Brovary, approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Kyiv, had 270 employees working at the time of the attack.

Volodymyr Melnychenko was identified as the employee who died. The seven injured individuals received medical attention, and one is reported to be in serious condition. The strike occurred on the same day as a large-scale Russian missile and drone assault on the capital city, Kyiv, which caused damage to residential buildings, industrial facilities, and a school.

Iryna Chechotkina, co-founder of Rozetka, expressed condolences to the victim's family and stated that the company would provide medical, psychological, and financial assistance to those affected. She also affirmed that Rozetka would rebuild the damaged facility and continue its operations.
