Russian attacks across Ukraine killed at least 15 people and injured at least 118 others over the past day, regional authorities reported on June 29. The death toll rose from a Russian morning attack on Dnipro.
Russia launched 108 drones against Ukraine overnight, of which 82 were downed, according to the Air Force. The morning attack on Dnipro killed at least five people and injured 28, with four in critical condition, regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha said. The specific weapon used in the central-eastern city, located over 62 miles from the front lines, has not been disclosed.
In southeastern Zaporizhzhia Oblast, six people were killed and 34 wounded by Russian attacks, including two deaths and six injuries from an attack on a minibus, regional governor Ivan Fedorov reported. In northeastern Kharkiv Oblast, two people were killed and 25 wounded, including a 10-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy, governor Oleh Syniehubov said. At least two people were killed and nine wounded in northeastern Sumy Oblast, according to the regional military administration.
In northern Chernihiv Oblast, a drone attack injured a gas station worker, regional governor Viacheslav Chaus stated. In eastern Donetsk Oblast, at least seven people were wounded, and in southern Kherson Oblast, 14 people were wounded by Russian attacks over the past day, according to regional governors Vadym Filashkin and Oleksandr Prokudin, respectively.
