Several Palestinians, including two ambulance officers, sustained injuries during a series of attacks and raids conducted by Israeli forces and settlers throughout the West Bank. In Beit Dajan, east of Nablus, three Palestinians were beaten by settlers. Further southeast of Bethlehem, in Abu Nujaym, settlers opened fire, injuring a Palestinian. The same settlers then attacked an arriving ambulance, injuring its crew with pepper spray and rendering the vehicle inoperable. The director of the Palestine Red Crescent Society’s ambulance service in Bethlehem confirmed the injuries to the two officers. In Anza, south of Jenin, Israeli forces raided a family home and arrested a 13-year-old boy, Mohammed Imad Sadaqa. Another Palestinian was beaten and arrested during a raid in Beit Furik, east of Nablus. Settlers also targeted Palestinian homes and communities in the northern Jordan Valley and near Ramallah. Israeli forces implemented security measures including checkpoints and road closures in Bethlehem, Jenin, Qalqilya, Tubas, and other areas.
