The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has issued a warning regarding the "grave risks" associated with Israeli announcements concerning the annexation of areas within the West Bank. The 57-member organization stated that the Israeli occupation and its settlement enterprise, along with all associated measures and institutions, are illegal.
In its statement, the OIC emphasized that all acts stemming from these activities constitute flagrant violations of international law, relevant international legitimacy resolutions, and the Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice.
The OIC appealed to the international community, with a specific call to the United Nations Security Council, to exert pressure on Israel. The objective is to compel Israel to cease killings, halt settlement expansion, and end what the OIC described as "systematic terrorism, blockade and forcible displacement."
