Israeli forces have looted and destroyed three more schools in southern Lebanon, according to a statement from Lebanon’s Education and Higher Education Minister Rima Karami. The destruction brings the total number of Lebanese schools destroyed in Israeli strikes to 20. UNESCO had previously reported that 17 schools were destroyed and over 100 damaged in Lebanon since the conflict began. The ongoing conflict has resulted in approximately 500,000 Lebanese children being unable to attend school.
